Gala Knörr will be presenting new works from her current most recent project ’Through the looking glass’ dedicated to the world of communication via modern technology. Using the allegory for how the society of the spectacle works, Knörr explores the feeling of instant gratification and desire using the internet as her main source of inspiration. Using multiple collage and photographic pigment transfer techniques, the artist applies layers of oil paint creating this new post electronic message composed of many different stories sent to her from known and unknown Snapchat users.
