This edition presents a selection of electroacoustic musicians with different backgrounds: from sound art, DIY culture, and the search for earth signal in the sound environment. The participating artists represent the sound art scene which emerges from the influence of contemporary art, new media art, the musical aesthetic of jazz and the free improvisation. Self-taught, academics or trained in different backgrounds such as architecture, those artists search the ways to express what the sound can offer and how to escape the conventional representation of artists’ musical expression in front of the computer. Sometimes their performances produce the entanglement with the surrounding space in form of sound installations. The event will be an experience for the senses and a great listening session for all the audiences.
