Majorca’s most internationally influential artist, Amparo Sard creates mesmerizing, monochrome images of unfinished human forms by painstakingly piercing the material with pins. The effect is to allow each viewer to complete their own interpretation, whilst speaking a subliminal language that connects beauty with the sinister.  Amparo Sard’s work is an intimate reflection on human nature: doubt, anguish and contemporary identity.   Uncertain, eluding definition, suspended between indecision and error.
