2013 HIGHLIGHTS - Eli Cortiñas - Screening and Talk

Eli Cortiñas, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canarias in 1976, is one of Spain’s most prominent Berlin-based artists. Spain NOW!, in collaboration with The Hospital Club and Rokeby Gallery, is proud to present her work in London.

Recently awarded the prestigious Villa Massimo fellowship, she is currently represented by Soy Capitan (Berlin), Waldburger gallery (Brussels) and Rokeby (London).

The screening will be conducted by Karen Alexander and followed by questions and answers between Alexander and Cortiñas. Karen Alexander is currently a senior tutor in the RCA’s Curating Contemporary Art department.

The screening will present:
‘Confessions with an open curtain, 2010’,
‘Dial M for Mother, 2008’,
‘FIN, 2011’,
‘Bird, Cherry, Lover, 2010’ and
‘Perfidia, 2012’.
