Juan Pérez-Fajardo (Madrid 1969) is a photographer and modeling and 3D animation artist. He started his career working for Disney Buena Vista and REM Infográfica, but the wish to have creative independence made him create Fly Multimedia in 1995. He won the Sol de Oro in multimedia in the San Sebastián Advertising Festival. At that time he started thinking about a tribute to B science fiction movies, which ultimately became El ataque de los zombies adolescentes (The Attack of Teenage Zombies) in 2001.
In 2003 he created The Fly Factory and directed his second short film: Terminal, la venganza de Sothot (Terminal, Sothot’s revenge). Hasta la muerte (2005) awarded him more than 20 prizes as best animated short film, including a nomination to the Goya awards in 2007.
As a photographer, he collaborates with several publications, including Rolling Stone, El País, El Mundo, Mondo Sonoro, RockDeLuxe or Revista 40 principales. He has won, amongst others, the 2nd photography prize of National Geographic España magazine in 2008, and the 1st mention of the 2nd Canson Infinity contest. He has shown his work in several individual and collective exhibitions. His live concert photos can be seen in the permanent collection of the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and Alburquerque, the Hard Rock Café in Madrid and the offices of Gibson Guitars in Madrid.
