In 2007, an ambitious project was launched to fully renovate the Edificio España, an emblematic building in Madrid that symbolised prosperity under Franco’s regime. This intriguing and controversial behind-the-scenes documentary uncovers revealing anecdotes from two hundred workers of various nationalities, incorporating their experiences with the memory of the place: an immense Tower of Babel on which the imprints of our time will remain forever. This UK premiere is followed by a talk with its director Victor Moreno.
